Playground Safety=Proper Surfacing
The most important safety feature for your playground is surfacing. To prevent injuries from accidental falls, you want to make sure that surfacing is at the proper depth for the height of the play equipment. You also want to be sure you are meeting Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) legal requirements for public playgrounds so that your playground is accessible to children and adults of all abilities.
